You say:
"Reduces glucose levels for fat loss" This is incorrect. GLA stabilizes BG levels so that hyperglycaemia does not occurr following a high carb meal. Doesn't REDUCE. It STABILIZES so that rebound hypoglycaemia doesn't occurr. My current tests on GLA concurr with what I am saying. It is also(low and behold) slightly thermogenic. No kidding, possibly through increased BAT activity or prostaglandin production. I'll complete my entire BG study of various compounds in 3 weeks, but I have finished the testing on GLA. GLA does not act like ALA. Fonz No Pain....No Gain.....No Spain ----Barcelona 1992

reduction of BG, perhaps not directly.. however that is still the "effect" and agree that the mechanism is wholely different than r-ala.. two different modes of action
GLA, like some poly and super polyunsaturates, is weak uncoupler. also thermogenesis you describe may be releated to infleunces on prostaglandins MP

Is ala a no-no fopr those with hypoglycemic tendencies, but GLA a good thing???

r-ala should help with hypoglycemia by reducing insulin secretion (if it is beta cell insensitivity that causes over production) MP
