Default Fibre and Insulin

Does a pure fibre supplement (ie. no sugar) cause an insulin response?

Default

No. Fiber is either not digested at all (insoluble fiber crams down the food through the digestive tract, helps crap) while some of the soluble fiber is used as energy (which forms a gel in the stomach which is the one which kinda binds to some fat). Fiber is used as energy by the bacterias in our tract and produce some fatty acids which provide use some energy but... it's not carb, so no insulin.
