Default Never sick on cycle

I've recently caught a little throat infection, (Ranger, not what you're thinking) and i've realized that while i'm on juice i never get sick.

It doesn't matter what type of steroid i'm on, it seems i can't get sick when on juice, anyone else experience this?

Not unless bloody noses count. I almost always catch a cold after I come off though.

Same for me.. but two weeks after coming off
I could count on a sinus infection, like clockwork.

I've been running HRT for about 18 months and
can't remember my last cold or sinus problem..

My .02 cents.

I also agree...... but I take a little better care of myself while "on".

I've noticed the same thing. Especially with Test. But I can always count on a coming down with a wicked cold/flu when I come off.

I get sick every year sometime between Feb to April...

Last year, I was sick the whole time during my only bulking cycle (sick for ~7 weeks) and got fat with little muscle gain. It sucked. Cycle was Cyp/Prop/D-bol.

This year I am putting my faith in DECA! Deca and enanthate will be used until ~April.

Aaargghhh...taking everything I can get my hands on:

Vit. C....5-6 grams
Vit E.....800 iu
Sambucal
ALA
Zinc
Foilc Acid
EFA's
High Protein
etc.....

I usually get sick when my sleep time is decreased from insomnia. If I can keep my sleep time over 6-7 hours per night, it also seems to help. If I go below this, it's like playing Russian Roulette. Sometimes with school, I have no choice though. This is the only time of year I get scared. This usually makes me lazy the next day and I will usually eat like shit as a result...which adds to the problem.

If anybody else has any supplement ideas to add, then please state them.

Now that you mention, I also never get sick during a cycle. But, like 5252 said, there are also other factors playing a role in my situation. Like sleeping more, having more vits/mins, etc..

I have gotten sick at the beginning like many people but once I am really ON I am invicible. Even when my son brings every flu virus known to man from his grade school, I don't get sick.

My immune system seems better when I am on also, fewer allergies as well. I particularly like being on during winter when there are more nasties around that can really bring your down. When I do get sick, it seems I do not stay sick as long and it is not as severe.

SteelPreacher et all, i think there is a well known feeling of malaise at the beginning and at the end of a cycle.

I'll attribute this to the most obvious of course, fluctuating hormonal levels.

Now, we know that some anabolics are known to increse immune response, and decrease the severity of oxidative bursts, but what about the other steroids??

It seems like almost all of us, seem to have virtually invincible immune systems when on. Anyone have any science behind this that they care to add?
