Mastering the SHIMMY!!!!

For those that don't know me...
I'm a 30 year old wife/mother/student. The name "ViRTuouS" comes from Proverbs 31. How it applies to this board ---> v. 17, "She girds herself with strength and makes her arms strong". (Right on!) Current stats: Height: 5'8" Weight: 190 BF%: 33% (YIKES!) <--refuses to post pics until I've lost fat enough to feel comfortable enough. Then I'll do some before/after. Measurements: Ribs-36" Waist-38.5" Hips-43" Butt-43.5" Thighs-28" For those that do know me... What have I been up to? What I do best ---> being lazy! (yup) School and the kiddos are keeping me busy, but I need to incorporate a healthy diet & exercise regimen. Goals for this log: sharpen my mind, strengthen my body, and cultivate my soul. The gist of this log will be about strengthening my body, but you will probably hear about by progress with my mind & soul from time to time. So here goes... AM WORKOUT (still trying to figure out my working weight) 10 min elliptical (interval) Leg Press-230x8x3 Leg Extensions-90x8x1, 170x8x2 (I don't know if this # is correct, the #'s are scratched off...will double check it next week) DB Single Leg Split Squat-15x8x3 SLDL-65x8x1, 85x8x2 Leg Curls-72x8x3 10 min elliptical (interval) EATS (need to add in another meal...or two) Chicken & Broccoli Chicken & Sweet Potato Chicken & Sweet Potato ANPB Totals: Cals 1603 P 178g 47%, F 43g 25%, C 122g 27% I'm still trying to iron out the details and make this into a "routine". As far as the mind goes, here are the current classes I'm enrolled in. BTW, I'm a junior now! Financial Auditing, Management Science, Accounting Information Systems, & Advanced Tax Accounting (I dread this class!) This is, BY FAR, the toughest semester I've had! pics or not pics ![]() workout and diet looking good girl ![]() oh and in regard to the pics...even if you don't post them, still take some for yourself so you can track your progress. Then further down the track when you are happy with how you are looking..you may feel ok to post your starting pics then to show how far you have progressed ![]()

WORKOUT 30 min elliptical (intervals) 15 min treadmill (intervals) EATS Cottage Cheese (wasn't that hungry this morning, had to work on my audit case) Tilapia & sweet potato Steak & green beans Protein shake, milk, & ANPB Totals: Cals 1523, P 149g 40%, C 95g 22%, F 54g 33% |

Just got back from seeing College Road Trip. Cute movie. Makes me sad to think about my kiddos growing up and leaving the nest. *sigh*
THE GOOD NEWS IS...(drumroll) I REFRAINED FROM EATING ANY JUNK FOOD! Yup! Took my grapefruit, tuna pouch, and bottle of water instead. Oh, it was torture to pass the popcorn back and forth. Good thing I can't gain weight from sniffing it! WORKOUT DL-105x8x3 Lat Pulldown-72x8x3 Seated Row-72x8x1, 84x7x1, 72x8x1 DB Incline Curls-15x8x3 Twisting Crunches-20x3 FOOD Protein Shake & skim milk tuna pouch & almonds tuna pouch & grapefruit tilapia & basmati rice protein shake, milk, & ANPB Totals: Cals 1596, P 162g 41%, F 52g 30%, C 123g 29% And this is just because I like this smiley! ![]() |
