View Full Version : My IT band is tight

after 22.5 miles it is just tight...no real pain but tight....Have to run 23 miles this weekend...any ideas on how to keep it loose.....only tight for a day or two and then seems to go away

Have you tried using a foam roller? It works wonders and you can use it on any body part.

You know I forgot about that...I guess I can use it down the sides of my quads....which should help the hips and by the knees I would guess

I would also roll and stretch your glute...because 80% of your IT band connects to the glute..could be referral
