Man I tell ya times have changed these guys were in shape, I think there was 14 middles 13 liteheavies, and 15 heavies..all for the most part ripped, very few if any out of shape. Probably the best level 5 show I have ever seen. It was a little disturbing to see as many growth guts as I did on this level, especialy on the women. I had a friend that I went to watch who took second in the women middle...I think conditioning is a common thing now..everyone comes in shape it's down to genetics and size..I'm doing the southeastern USA in 8 weeks and realize I better turn up the heat..I visit this board quite often just don't post much, however I did want to share my observation..did anyone else go to the show..and if so what did ya think? Peace

It was a great show. Sorry I didn't know you'd be there. I could have said hello. I have only been to one National show and a few regionals. This is somewhere inbetween the two. I have not seen a regional even in Chicago that holds a candle to this show. The level of talent, the number of competitors, the number of pros, and the number in attendance were all very impressive.
I was unhappy that it ran so long that the restaurants were closed afterwards. |

Do you know Iron Queen? I was there with her and friends, my girlfriend was there with her as well so you may have met her..She mentioned your name and a few others that's why I posted here to see if any others had any thoughs about the show...the length was terrible..I didn't even stay for the overall winner, I was way to tired from prejudging..besides the queen had to eat..however as I said before the competition was unbelievable..I haven't competed since 93, mens nationals so my return to the stage is just around the corner..middleweight is my class and from the looks at this show I have alot of work to do in a short period of time..been using the yohimbe burn for about 3 weeks, works well..
