Default BJAARKI, you got me tripping on that Article, man!!!!

I suppose because I'm a doer and not a talker of shit, but those last half-dozen paragraphs are thought provoking.

Doing what works is one thing, but concerted examination is another. So my question is this:

Why do you guys take exogenous Insulin when you already know for a fact that it stunts lipolysis?

Do you guys who take insulin get hungry during that 4 hour period?

I'm just curious.

Yes, the NY Times Magazine article I cited really is pretty interesting, isn't it? You're probably the only guy here who bothered to navigate to it and read it, though, PDoggy. I wish the other guys would ...

Default Thanks bro..

Now.. I'm wondering to myself, about a lot of things.

My next question to anyone who cares would be:

Any of you guys who have tried Animalbolics..I know you have leaned out, but have you been able to use Animalbolics (properly) and steadily increase LBM?

I say this because I personally believe, as I stated in BJaarki's original post, that all you need food for is fuel and recovery. Thus, using Animalbolics, if you were able to get as many nutrients back into the body post-workout within say, a 4 hour period.. let me give you an example:

- I get up to train every morning at 5:20am.
- I train from 6-7am.
- I have my first post-workout meal at around 7:15. 100g Carbs and about 80g protein
- 2 hours later (9:15a) I have the same thing. (This puts me about about 160g protein, so I only need about 55 more grams of protein to meet my requirements)

If within 2 hours (11:15a) I can get those 55 grams of protein, what sense does it make for me to be eating anything else? I'm already fueled, right and primed for recovery, right? Plus, unless I'm a hedonist, I really don't need more food. (Remember, food is a tool, and that's really all there is too it, right?)

Feedback, please?

(These are random thoughts, that's all)

I actually did read the whole article. I thought it was very informative and it is about time someone put something like it together.

The medical community should hang its head after touting the low calorie/low fat diets for so many years in the face of so much evidence that they are ineffective. To add insult to injury they have always claimed, without any real empirical support, that low carb diets are unhealthy. Imagine how many people could have lived longer, healthier lives and/or avoided diabetes or obesity if they hadn't been such collective knuckleheads.

the purpose of eating further would be to prevent depletion of circulating blood amino acid pools and maintain positive nitrogen balance in doing so.
every 4 hours blood amino acid pools drop off and nitrogen retention drops with it thus stripping aminos from muscle etc.

We take slin because it is cheap and very affective for gaining mass. Also their is a study in vitro showing that a small amout of PGF2a keeps insulin from storing fat in fat cells. So adding PGF2a (which I alwasys do now) helps keep you lean on slin. Besides that why not take slin on Animalbolics during your 4 hour eating phase (humalog).
