Default Something weird when aspirating!

I have been injecting my glutes with the QV enanthate every monday and friday switching sides each inj. Today when I was injecting my right glute I aspirated some weird orangish color liquid, it definitely did not look like it was just blood. Has anyone else experienced this. Could it be an infection? The area is not red or painful. What could this be?

Thanks,
androx

My best guess would be you drew up some of the last shot in that spot.

I would think that after a week it would be absorbed but maybe not. Try rotating between 4 spots just to be on the safe side.

Are you sure that it wasn't just blood mixed with the oil to appear orangish?

Yes, the qv enanthate is pretty painful. Usually I do rotate between more injection spots but it is really painful shooting it in the quads. It wasn't just the blood mixing with the oil because I withdrew it and aspirated a second time and drew blood, which was dark red.

YEA - Someone else this has happened to!

I was injecting SEO in my biceps and aspirated an orangeish-colored material that was relatively heavy.

I just assume it was "old" SEO and I just took a couple days off SEO (never have gotten any lumps or anything).

If I had to guess I would say you guys are pulling it back too hard. Just give the plunger a very slight tug. If you are in a vein the blood pressure will fill the syringe. YOU won't need to draw up the blood it will do it all by itself.
