It recently has been become a big topic in the media over the issue of the pro's using aas. Now the media is loving the current chance to bash all the upcoming stars such as bonds sosa etc and put a taint on their records because they have so called cheated. Cry me a river guys. We all pay to see bigger and better stars with more entertainment and then they cry innocent as if they did not know and it has hurt sports. The reason players are hitting so well is a combo of all things not just aas. If aas is the answer then every person who touches it becomes a superstar instantly...it just does not play true in real life just like in bodybuilding. It takes years to develop a great physique even with aas. Im tired of this bullshit approach to understanding performance enhancing drugs. Then they continue with their uneducated claims of lyle alzado and his death and put a sob story on the current path of mlb and other sports....wake the fuck up you idiots. It is well known alzado's was not related to aas and was spoken of extensively by a doctor on a well known talk show. Here is a quote from Darrel Frye a sports columnist in the St.Petersburg Times, "The use of steroids is illegal in our country except by prescription, if it was safe don't you think that they would make it available for anyone to use." Well that is a great question Darrel. I dont think they would because they are money hungry assholes and America and FDA do not always have our best interest in mind but of course tobacco who has killed millions is held in high regards as "ok"...oh how many deaths has aas caused...oh you dont know do you darrel...not a lot of evidence but yet our best interest is in mind...fuck you ignorant assholes.
ahhh much better sorry for the rant but someone needs to stand up and tell the truth. |

The FTC, FDA and Dept of Health and Family Services all testified against the scheduling of AS. Congress ignored them. |

all in all, a good rant. i agree on the whole.

Thanks for the comments. Here in Florida especially they seem to be harping on this whole subject alot. I believe for the most part that people especially those on boards are trying to educate themselves and seek the best options for their bodies, like anything else abuse will happen. I have seen how even the andro scene was thrown into a big media fest, after Mcgwire hit all his homeruns. What is funny to me is the crys from the players who say things like we should test tomorrow for aas..."Frank Thomas". I hardly believe these players are in the dark on this matter and even more so in management....Tony Larussa was questioned on Mark Mcgwire about his aas...and his reply was, " I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was clean. i saw him in the gym and pound in the protien and how he took care of himself. He killed cows left and right."
It seems as if Tony is under the impression that people using aas do not take care of themselves nor do they work hard or eat protein left and right. I am glad we have educated guys on this board who know how to cycle and give true options and advice. i usually do not post much here or on other boards simply because i enjoy reading the posts but i think i will start getting more involved as i have done mostly reading for 4 years. thanks guys |
