does any one think or are there any studies that suggest that whey protein with 2 tbs of ANPB digest at a rate similar to casein? Wondering because i feel like the whey with PB is cheaper and taste a hell of a lot better.

im assuming you mean like mix yr whey with water and pb instead of just whey and milk? because milk has casein protein in it.

My question was about what kind of protein to take before bed:
Casein is the obvious choice because it of its slow digestive properties. However I got the impression that some think that you can take your regular whey shake before bed with ANPB (under the impression that the ANPB will slow down the absorption enough to resemble caseinate).
My question was, is this true?

i dont know as far as true evidence, but yes fats do slow the absorption rate of protein therefore it would slow it a little, but i dont think it would slow it down as much as casein itself, i may be wrong tho. it all depends on how hardcore and strict you are with your diet. Me, i'm willing to take a tablespoon of ANPB (also for added appetite decrease) and a scoop of whey. dont think there is a huge difference.
ANPB and whey is more than fine.

gotcha. well ive always just mixed my whey with pb and milk b4 bed and with gatorade powder n water after a workout to make things cheaper. thats whats always been suggested as "ok" as far as ive seen and vaguely supported by science.
