Well regardless of how it happened it did.:bash:
I got fat. It was an infusion of Starting a business hiring 20 some people moving, growing business, and getting married, and well you name it. appendix, deviated septum"sp" within the last 4 months.

Either way here I am in all my splendor.:eek:
Stats
5'11"
231 lbs as of today.

started this week swiming for 1 hour EOD
Treadmill EOD for 1 hour.
and weights 5 times a week.

also bought a new kayak.

SO I know what I am doing to get back into better shape just need some motivation by viewing it.

Its happens to the best of us.....The mere fact that your starting a program and seem focused on getting back in shape is great. Stay with it! By the way, Welcome to the Board.

Good luck bro, you can do it if I can do it...in '04 after my daughter was born I let myself go, and had been there at 230 for a 6ft guy....taking pics was the fun of it all, and still is even...to see your body change before you, it's amazing brother...with the hardwork and dedication though you'll knock it out soon enough :coolred:

If you #1 goal is fat loss we are going to have to help you adhere to a diet you can DO, stick to, and enjoy with have some treats on the weekend(s) >:)

well I haven't lost any strenght.lol

Cardio is killing me I LOOK and feel like a pig on its way to the slaughter house.
The 1 hour on the treadmill is killing me, but I can swim for over an hour easy." used to swim high school,college" And line sprints are the death of me.

I'll be posting a workout log here soon. back tot he gym

P.S. thanks for all the comments its great motivation.

Rough week. Forgot how bad/good it feels to workout.:jumpjoy:

Very marginal weight loss, but the weights are up and up"lifting wise". Swimming/Cardio is going great I can reach that hour no problem at a fast pace.

Diet has been exactly what I love to eat.

Plain Chicken, Low carb protein shakes, whole wheat rice, and WATER WATER WATER! No cheat days don't really miss the bad food either. It was allways just fast.

ALLRIGHT now for the pics don't look if your squimish!:imsorry:

You are already looking less soft, good job. Looks like you've dropped some water, some fat and are well on your way.

Keep kicking it! (your own ass, that is..) :)

the front pose comparison definitely shows fat loss especially in yr lower sides and looks like yr muscles re-volumize some especially evident uptop in yr yoke.
the side pose looks like you were really pushin the abs out in the before pic vs a kinda flexed or sucked pose in the second but its still visable to me that some fat loss is goin on.
regardless, great results in such a short time span, keep it up bud!

Man, that's nothin'!!! You'll be fine. Bold move posting your before pic's for this recent endeavor though... I commend that. I've been in the same boat and now that I'm back to where I was while in college & military, I thought about burning my before pic's..lol It's like looking at a complete stranger... whom your disgusted with.

First pic was night time lazzy, second set of pics was me standing straight and and doing a bit of breath holding:pig: made me feel better. I'll get a regular one later for my comparison. thanks for the notice of it.

dont get me wrong bud. i hope it didnt sound like i was downing yr pics. i definitely notice a easilly visable loss of fat and water. yr doin great dude.

nothing fancy. diet is still the worst part.

As of now hitting gym 3 days a week. and kayaking 3 days a week.

like I said nothing fancy. but I sure do feel better.

Long time no update.haha

I'll sum it up, Business busy, New child, Torn Bicep. Started another business in South America Way south. Still hoovering around 200lbs. Really want to get it dialed in I fell better just nursing this arm.

Hey long lost people!

Well three surgeries, a child"best thing ever!", and sold my business. Life just keeps on going. I have not gainned nor have I lost anything. I look a bit better than the last pics and I am here to keep this updated. So stay tunned

Great progress in such a short period of time. I wish I would have gotten on this thread sooner, I feel like it's too late to make chubby jokes now. :grin:

But fluffy is still o.k.!

J/k... keep up the good work. The good thing is that you have a good solid base to work with. I would rather try to cut fat off than put muscle on. Then again, that's just cause I'm a natural hard gainer. Just make sure you take it slow and give everything a chance to "keep up" so that you don't go tearing or ripping anything else.
