Anyone got any ideas what drugs the South African rugby team was on when it won the World Cup in '95? They were huge and agressive, and new reports are coming out that they were juiced like crazy. I know what CAN do that (like test.) but I wonder what DID do that. Any help?

I play collegiate rugby myself. I have no clue what they were taking but my guess would be fina or halo... maybe both.

I read this a while ago, but when I used yahoo to find it again, all the SA Rugby steroid shit was about that Super 12 prop who just tested positive for nandrolone (he claims it was 'cause of an EAS supplement) this week. Sorry I can't find the link again.

I doubt it was fina, as "home brew" wasn't popular then, and I think Parabolan was already off the market for some time (I think) by then. Plus, how would they get foreign stuff...they couldn't tour as a team...I think it would have to have been SA, NZ, or Aussie gear. Was Halo made down there? Does anyone have any reliable info on this?

Thanx for the links...but I knew about this recent development w/ the prop being busted for Nandrolone (on another news site, he is quoted as saying its from using EAS products...)but my question was about the '95 Springboks...these are all about some guy busted well after that. But thanx for taking the time to find the links anyway.
