Treadmills for the home

What do you folks believe is the best bang for the buck in a treadmill mfgr. & model (asking for a friend)? I have been very satisfied using both Landice and Precor models for the past few years but I have no idea what might be a good quality, reasonably priced unit for home/family use. Thanks in advance.

Norditrack is owned by Healthrider now and they make the best treads for the money. Precor is too expensive for what you get.

My model is "opendoorandwalkoutside", its the latest and greatest of all high tech treadmills u can imagine. There is a nature scene surround screen complete with sound and odor effects to mimick the great out doors.....
Sorry, I use stationary bike, feel free to apply this snotty reply to my bike.
