I keep recommending a certain food, and I think having a substitutions section would be pretty helpful.

Pasta/Rice - Switch out for spaghetti squash
1 cup of cooked whole wheat pasta has 174 calories, 1g fat, 37g carbs, and 7g protein.
1 cup spaghetti squash has 42 calories, 0g fat, 10g carbs, and 1g protein.

Hmm...I can't seem to think of anything else at the moment...if anyone has any questions on subs, they can ask :) When I write down recipes to share, I always make sure to put a kosher option and vegan option so that way everyone can enjoy it. Since I don't know everyone's goals or diet, post and we'll figure it out :)

I take it the idea is to substitute healthier alternatives for commonly used foods?
Sounds like a good thread idea.

Sounds like a good thread idea. That's correct. When I write down recipes to share, I always make sure to put a kosher option and vegan option so that way everyone can enjoy it.

Since I don't know everyone's goals, I didn't know what else to put on there. I think I'll put this post up there so the OP is clearer :)

I was wondering if he wanted me to post recipes, or if he was asking for more recipe substitutions.
