Thinking about trying this for relief of anxiety and depression and lack of motivation...sounds interesting but it's 180 bucks for the first "awakening" section of the CDs with about 12 stages I believe that follow after. Got the link because I believe BDR uses it. Does anyone else use it and like it? Is it worth the dough. After the initial money back guaranteed 180 how much are the subsequent programs?
Main question is just is it worth it? Has it helped anyone? It's audiotechnology that sounds similar to subliminal messages which is not exactly what it is. Interesting, but not sold yet. Any first hand experience appreciated. Need something to control this restless racing mind. Trying to steer away from meds. |

I would not pay that kind of money, you can learn TM for free
Transcendental Meditation website is on The Transcendental Meditation (TM) Program - Official website. How and where to learn. I still do it, it works fine, just the meditation, not the BS about Enlightenment, spirituality and hoping or flying, those guys are just nuts. If you can't learn it, tell me I will teach to you online. Been doing 35 years. |

Just did Yoga today and it kicked my ass. 1st time. Grabbing at anything that will help me out here. Again, thanks bro.

I know the racing thoughts thing has a lot to do w/ just mentally putting order to the chaos you feel you are in and identifying paths of solution and control of it all. But to the point of just trying to relax long enough to fall asleep, sometimes just a simple 1 aspirin goes a long way when you feel like you are getting worked up.

The reason I like TM, is I can do it anywhere, passenger in the car, radio on, kids throwing kids out the window, Don’t need any thing special, just someplace to sit, and close my eyes, follow the procedures. 1) sit quietly for about 1 minute 2) focus on your mantra, 20 minutes is excellent for me. 3) then sit quietly for two minutes and you are done. My secret mantra is ShaRing But don’t tell anyone, You know about 20 years ago I was talking to my shrink and she did TM too, Guess what her secret mantra was-----------------------ShaRing. I think there is only one Mantra. |

Thanks Sassy and SS!
I will look into this binaural stuff as well and try to find a cheaper alternative to centerpointe. It's like 2K apparently, and can be had perhaps cheaper by other companies. The TM will be a great help. I will look into this for sure. Solid...was your shrink a regular western doc or did you see a special doc for the binaural? Thanks again to you both! |

Thanks BDR! I checked into it. Is this the same thing as binaural beats? I'm looking for a cheap version of this technology and feedback as to whether it works. Glad you are having success with it bro! Will have to check into that as well before I slap some chips down on a program.
