Just started taking DHEA, but the dosage is comparatively high. 100mg per pill. I notices a general sense of wellbeing, and no signs of fatigue at all...Another thing I noticed is decreased appetite. Again, don't know if that could be attributed to DHEA directly so soon, but it seems unusual for me. I've been poking around the net searching for answers on dosing per times of daily intake....
Found this excerpt with experiment outcomes and some really cool scientific fact: CERI: DHEA Report from Smart Drug News

Uhh, I'm pretty positive 100mg is a lot to start on - like a lot, definitely for a woman. I don't typically give any advice, but you should probably drop that down.
Also, I believe I've read a post by macro saying to take DHEA with your highest fat meal as the compounds are somewhat hydrophobic. Last edited by Scarlett; 03-01-2008 at 05:55 PM.. |

The transdermal DHEA product I used last year recommended 35 sprays (70mg) for men. I started at 20 sprays, and over a period of 6 weeks gradually increased to the male dose and experienced great energy levels and strength gains, as well as some measurable LBM gains. |

I've read in numerous places that 50mg ED is adequate to restore youthful levels of DHEA. I've also seen experiments suggesting that DHEA has minimal effect along with others suggesting, as Anya experienced, that it does help well-being and LBM gains. I suspect that it's something that might vary from person to person. There doesn't really seem to be much information about it other than in post-menopausal women.
It's often cited as being a precursor to oestrogen and to testosterone. My understanding is that it's two steps removed and actually converts to androstenedione and androstenediol, which can then convert to the desired hormones. Whether DHEA has benefit might depend on how the body was already situated with respect to these hormones and how readily it converts them on. If you have low aromatase, for example, then conversion to oestrogen is going to be low. |

Wow, 100mg is a lot to start off on. I took up to 50mg for a period of time (I'm female) and that was almost too much. maybe try splitting the pills and tirate up to a full pill. I noticed a lot of the same sides you mentioned.
