question about glucorell

the dr put me on metformin for high sugar...like 305 or so. so i didnt like the way it made me feel so i quit taking it. ive been off it for about 4 months now. and ive tried to clean up my diet. not strict at all just not a lot of junk food. my sugar is mainly 240 or so. i got the glucorell and have been taking 5 3 times a day with 2 sesapure 3 times a day 2 liver detox 3 times a day and 2 t-rex 3 times a day.

in the last 6 months my weight has gone from 300lbs to 258lbs. my sugar the last few days has been 275 and a few days before that it was 190....and it stays that way for a few days and then changes. but i dont change the food i eat realy...i just kind of eat whatever when im hungry. like today i woke up took my supps then had an isopure shake in water. then at break for work 2.5 hours later had bag of tuna and a yogurt(small) and diet coke can.

i guess i just need to fix my diet i guess

How much metformin did the doctor prescribe for you?

I used it at 1600mg/day and it left a horrible metallic taste in my mouth. Glucorell is far more effective at glucose disposal, and you don't get the bad metallic after-taste (It seriously kills your taste buds).

1000mg 2x daily but i was 300 lbs then

You're taking 5 Glucorell 3 times a day? Every day?
Get some arm and hammer baking soda. Tomorrow take one tsp of it in the morning and one at night. Post your morning fast BG on Friday.

Put the baking soda in water and drink it. Don't try to eat it.

Yes, still take the Glucorell. The baking soda trick worked for a couple of diabetics really well. One dropped from the 200's to 150 in a day.
It changes your blood PH.

How many Glucorell do you take a day?

i had been taking 2 a day with carb meals. had noticed no change so i upped it after reading that a person may need to increase dosage for a week or two at the initial phase. so i took 4 (3 times daily). then after 10 days of no change again upped to 5 3 times daily.

today i taken 4 and tsp of baking soda and then 4 again just now.

i think my diet may not be carb restricted enough. i dont eat alot of junk foods but i think i do eat and drink to many carbs over all. i still eat skim milk,yogurt,i usually eat some kind of normal sized sandwich at lunch(today was plain tuna on toast)

or my activity level isnt high enough maybe. i dont feel bad at all not sluggish or tired, plenty of energy in the gym.

i just want to say thank you for your help!!!!! it amazes me how much you do when you dont have to!

Don't you have a BG monitor?

You can use it to determine how much Glucorrel you actually need.

so i did the baking soda 2x daily and today my am BG was 200. i did eat about 2 hours later then normal. and didnt have time to do cardio

A BG of 200 is very, very high. You should aim for no more than 130-140 at most.

soooooo how do i achieve that? my goal is to be completely off dr. meds all together if at all possable.

my previous dr. was of the mindset that here take this pill eat whatever you want. and that bothered me ALOT!!!! i just dont know how to make the needed lifestyle change to do this and have the will power to make it permanent......im weak and i know it. i just wish i was as strong in my own head as i am on the field and in the gym......ya know?

JR i was tested and the dr. said im type 2

i was on something and it made me gain a shit load of fat then he switched me to byeta then switched me to metformin.
