Default Glucorell Timing question.

If I'm eating every two-2.5 hours for the most part and all meals are containing carbs. Do I need to take glucorell before every meal or is there a cary over peroid where each pill is good for say any carbs taken over 4 hour time period or what?

Taking it before every meal is not a problem, just checking.

It'll cover the second meal if it's that close. Just take two. That'll cover 4 hours.

its better to take prior to every meal, while there is carry over from earlier doses the effect is not as significant as with the peak plasma of doses prior to each meal.

so you can do it, but its more effective to dose prior to each meal (though then thats not convenient- the carry over is OK)

is there a such thing as overdosing glucorell if you're taking it every meal?

Ok, convenience is not an issue w/ me and I'm taking the same amount of caps in the end so I'll just continue taking it prior to meals.

Thanks for the info. Glad to know there is some cary over if necessary.

Overdosing no, but you may be wasting it. Taking one with every meal this is not likely, but if you're taking say 2 or 3 with all your meals and they are low carb then you're wasting it. 1 cap per 30grams of carbs.
You really need to find the best dose for yourself. Everyone's insulin sensitivity is different so you need to adjust your dose to fit you. How well you handle carbs is the indicator. If they make you fat fairly easily then you need more Glucorell. If not, then you don't.

Seems that your BG drops too fast after the meal. Could either be you or the R-ALA. Hard to tell.

I've gotten light-headed on Glucorell before. Now that I'm on low carb I only use them for my high carb cheat meals. If I take one with any less than 40 grams of carbs i'll get a little whoozy

It's clearing all your carbs from that meal. Try taking it an hour prior to eating instead of just before.
