Default Test. Prop. And Ox., 12 Wk. Complete Diary, Check it out!!!

Well guys, it’s finally here and I’ve put aside a little bit of time so I can actually type up this thread. I’ve been talking about my first cycle for a while, but now it’s time to put my money where my mouth is. First off I’m sure you guys would like a little bit of information on me so here we go.

Vital Stats:
Height: 6’0”
Pre-Cycle Weight: 213.5 lbs
Body Fat: 13-15% (Guessing)
Age: 20
Blood Pressure: 130/82

Important Stats (For Me):
Max Bench: 455
Max Squat: 595
Max Power Clean: 295
225 Rep Test: 21 Times
VJ: 25”
20 Yd. Pro Shuttle: 4.38 Sec.
40 Yd. Dash: 4.92 Sec.

For those members who don’t know, I’m a collegiate athlete playing football for an established program. We finished Top 25 in the nation last year.
Anyways, I’ve been researching AAS for about 5 years now and realized that I wasn’t ready to use until just recently. This cycle has been in the works for a while and has evolved tremendously as I’m thinking back, I remember planning a cycle my junior year of high school, man was I ignorant. I have been in a dedicated lifting program for going on 7 years and have been into the whole healthy/fitness lifestyle since I picked up my first weight. I listed the Important Stats part for myself actually as this thread right here on AF is my only journal, where I will put all of my thoughts/progress/successes/and yes, setbacks. That’s why I’m taking so much time with this. The important stats are how I will judge the success of my cycle because my reasons for doing this are a tad bit different than most. It won’t be the common weight gained, fat lost goals. We “Test Out” twice a year where we see how much progress we’ve made in the weight room and these are often good indicators on us as athletes as well. My goals are listed below. I will be putting up the same set of pictures every 3 weeks, sorry but extenuating circumstances prevented me from getting pre-cycle pictures up in the poses I wanted. Blood work will be taken and posted from pre, mid, and post cycle. If you guys can’t tell yet, I’m a perfectionist by nature so when I do things that I feel are important, I tend to sometimes go overboard or do them to the best of my ability. I’m hoping that when this eventually gets moved to the Completed Cycles forum that new guys to the game can use this as a comprehensive and complete way to see what all is involved and kind of a rough guideline of how to go about properly doing a cycle of Anabolic Steroids. I do want to make one statement for the new guys though that AAS are just another tool in our arsenal to help us to reach our goals. They shouldn’t even be considered until everything else is in place so that the use of them is optimized. Don’t get in the mindset that AAS are just there to cover up for a sub-par diet or training/rest, etc. Anywho, onward.

Goals:
1) To improve dramatically on (Most importantly) SPEED, but also on agility and Strength.
2) To crush all of my stats listed in Important Stats.
3) To come in at a lower bodyfat % and at a playing weight of about 220-230 lbs
4) To feel better overall about myself as an athlete…Meaning more Confidence.
5) To be a better athlete overall: My coach always says: You’re either moving forward or you’re moving backward but you’re never staying the same…And you certainly as hell better not be moving backward.”

Cycle:
The cycle that I finally settled on is listed below. I chose the Test. Prop. and the Ox. for their relatively quick clearance times (Because I do and have gotten tested) and the fact they work well together and work good for my goals. I want to harden up and gain quality muscle while burning fat (go figure) and I also am concentrating on gaining strength and most importantly SPEED. I am on a quest for speed and these substances are another tool in my arsenal. They are staggered to make them clear at roughly the same time (one week into camp) and as a bonus, they act as a sort of mini-on ramp and off-ramp of each other. (Plus they extend my cycle an extra week since I only can safely do one cycle a year) Gear used will be legit BTG Oxandrin (Oxandrolone) and U.S. Compounding Pharmacy Testosterone Propionate. I will also use some Quest and Supra Test. Prop when the compounded Prop. runs out. Post Cycle will continue supplements and will add nootropics to be posted at a later date.

Supplements:
Tylers-2 capsules 30 minutes before Ox (twice daily)
r-ALA 100mg 3 times daily (For Liver Protection)-10 min before meals
GNC Mega Man Multi-Vitamin-1 Dose ED
Ginger-1 gram for digestion before high protein meals-post W.O. Shake, etc.
Creatine- 10 grams ED
Glutamine- 10 grams ED
Magnesium-1 gram ED
Saw Palmetto-320 mg ED
Vitamin A- 8000 i.u. ED
Vitamin B Complex- High Potency ED
Vitamin C-3 grams-Before Workouts ED
Vitamin E-3000I.U. before bed ED
Co-Q 10- 100mg/day ED
Zinc 50mg EOD
Melatonin-As needed for Sleep
NYC- As needed before workouts to get me jacked up. Works well stacked with a “stacker” or other ECA product.
Yohimburn- Have a bottle, putting it on love handles and lower abdomen before workouts.

Pre-Cycle Bloodwork:
Below is my pre-cycle blood work. I will have the same tests done mid cycle and a couple of weeks post cycle as well to show everyone. Just some things to point out, my total cholesterol is a tad bit high, but it runs in my family and the more important LDL:HDL ratio (2.4) is normal. My ALT was slightly elevated but that happens in protein consuming, heavy lifting fitness freaks. And what I’m proud of most is that my Total-Testosterone was high-normal, and my free and weakly bound Testosterone levels were high which is great. But no shit they should be high, considering I’m a 20 year old, healthy eating athlete with all that natural test running through my body. BTW, the blood was taken after fasting for at least 8 hours and taken in the morning.

Pictures:
Due to extenuating circumstances I didn’t get to take pictures at the time and poses I wanted to but this weekend I will post them here for you guys to see. I will make a standard set and update them at specified times during the cycle for you to see the changes.

***To be edited and completed later***

Diet:
The diet I have set up right now is based on roughly 4000kcals. I don’t have the fastest metabolism so I do have to watch what I eat or else I put on fat easily. I was extremely fat as a child, and then through football in middle and high school I lost the weight and for some dumbass reason I was scared to gain too much weight, trying to stay around 185-195 lbs. I even had a brief bout with bulimia around my Junior year but I could control it and never told anyone. You guys are the first and only ones to know. It only lasted a couple of months and was only when I wanted to because I ate an extremely large or fatty meal. Looking back I realize that part of the reason was b/c I wanted to stay within the 185lbb weight class for power lifting meets. Once again, man was I dumb.
Well anyways about my diet, it’s 4000kcals with protein at 2 grams/lb of body weight to take advantage of the Oxandrolone.

Protein: 430 grams (43%)
Carbs: 323 grams (32%)
Fats: 110 grams (25%)

This is spread out through the day between 6 meals not including my workout or post workout shakes. I try to stick with two main macronutrients during the day, taking in most of my carbs from 6-10 at night since I lift from 6-8:30 ish at night after work.
The rotation is like this:
Meal 1- Protein and Carbs
Meal 2- Protein and Fats
Meal 3- Protein and Fats
Meal 4- Protein Only (Pre workout drink or protein powder)
-During my workout I use one serving of Phosphagen HP which is 35 grams of dextrose with creatine.
-Post Workout shake consists of 82 grams Protein, 96 grams of carbs (50/50 mixture of dextrose and maltodextrin), and 1.5 grams of fat. (10 grams glutamine, 5 grams creatine)
Meal 5- Protein and Carbs
Meal 6- Protein and Fats

Proteins: Chicken, red meats, protein powders, natural peanut butter, eggs, tuna, lunch meats, cottage cheese, skim milk, soy grits.
Carbs: Oatmeal, red potatoes, broccoli, grapefruit juice, skim milk, raisins, whole wheat bread, and some homemade jam for my PB and J sandwiches…
Fats: Natural PB, Eggs, Olive Oil

Training:
My training is a bit different than most here (once again). I have a scheduled lift program four days a week running a 2-on, 1-off, 2-on, 2off, schedule. Or more commonly, lifting Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri. My workouts are based on “core lifts” and we do 2 cores lifts every day and then complement them with a host of auxillary lifts. We rotate days of Lower Body, Upper Body, Lower Body, Upper Body. Monday is Squat and Hang Cleans as our core lifts, then a lower body workout consisting of many things such as one legged squats, glute hams, calves, etc. Tues. is Bench and power cleans, then inclines, medicine ball pushups, etc. Basically most movements that are based on power and explosion. Thursday is Front Squats or Box squats and then once again hang cleans with more auxillary lifts. And Friday consists of either close grip bench, coil grip bench, or bench with bands and power cleans again. We use several Westside methods and like to combine bands, chains, and plyos into our routines. The workout usually takes roughly and hour and 15 minutes and then we do conditioning/speed work every day afterward for another 45 minutes. We rotate days of speed work/ sprints/ distance/ and then more speed work. Also several days a week, I go in myself earlier in the day and do some speed work of my own and practice my long snapping. That is a rough outline of training for a college football player. (In the offseason/summer)

Odds and Ends:
For those who want to know, at least at my program there are hardly any guys who use AAS. We did have an epidemic of users back in the early nineties but we were also winning national championships back then, so I can’t complain. There are other similar teams that I know of players who use and the most surprising thing is how uneducated most of the users on those teams are. It is very rare to find an athlete who knows what the hell he’s doing and takes the necessary precautions when using AAS. Hope this has been an interesting and informational first post. Anyone who wants to comment or has a question, please feel free to do so as all advice is appreciated. Thanks guys and keep pushing the weight! And one quick note about the Propionate I’m using. I tried the compounded 200mg/ml prop before (Just took single shots to assess the pain) and had it sent back twice b/c the BA levels were too high for anyone to take. I have started my cycle with the Supra Prop. And the comparison is unreal. With the compounded prop I was in dehibilitating pain for at least 6 days with a baseball sized lump on my ass for a good two weeks. I have shot the Supra and although there is pain it only last 24-48 hours and feels like either a good leg workout or like when your older brother would give you a Charlie horse on your thigh when you were a youngster. With the compounded prop., it felt like (as made famous in another post) “I got drop kicked by God” himself…More posts to follow! Take Care.

Well, what a way to have as my first reply and update to my cycle. I am almost done with two weeks of my cycle (I know I just posted the first post but I hadn't had time to finish the thing completely on Word first...yeah that thing took a damn long time to do) Well anyways, Two weeks into my cycle and I notice that my strength is good. Body is changing slowly but not much difference yet b/c I've only been on the Prop 1 week and my diet hadn't been the cleanest. (Birthday celebration with a cake and icecream, cousins graduation from college, etc. In other words, life got in the way) Well anyways my real reason to put this post up was because right off the bat, I have a fucking setback. Tonight for our conditioning my coach decided to have a fun day and play basketball as our conditioning. Long story short, I completely stuffed my strength coach as he was driving in for a bucket but came down and completely blew up my ankle. After two and a half hours in the emergancy room I found out that there are no broken bones (the thing is swollen the size of a baseball) but have to go in on monday to check ligaments...thank god it's friday. May have to wear an air cast next week when squatting and may go a little light on the agility drills but will not let this stop me. Not allowed to put any pressure on it for the next few days but we'll play it by ear. While in the hospital I found out my most recent bloodpressure is at 152/80 which puts me into hypertension but I'm fine so far. I blame some of it on the fact I was in the hospital after a balls-to-the-wall workout and a sprained ankle. Plus I was watching the Detroit-Philadelphia game the whole time while in the ER. But gonna play things smart and keep marching forward. Thank god for our trainers and rehab/therapy during the summer. Onward and upward my fellow gentlemen.

P.S. Something I forgot to add earlier. I weigh myself every monday morning right as I get up and have comsumed no liquids or foods. At 1 week, my weight was at 217.5 lbs, and right now I'm cruising at about 223.5-224 lbs. Weight has definately gone up considerably with a very minor reduction in body fat judgigng by the mirror. more updates to come in the future.

I just do not understand why you are risking AS use. I was randon 5x in college over four years. Since you are hurt and the cycle will not be what you want if the ligs are torn. Consider stopping and cleaning out your system. I am for AS use and it is obvious you are educated. But, you have your whole life to get cut, strong, or whatever you want. You have only a few years, maybe only a few plays to play NCAA football at Top25 level.

ALso, 455 bench is great but what is going on with the 225 for only 21. That is like a DB :-).

Good luck.

You are probably very lucky you were on when you fell on your ankle.
This is the one of the best written and most comprehensive cycle posts ever posted anywhere. It may end up in the Hall if it continues like this. The ankle will be fine BTW.
You'll do very well with that.

In reply to BigBoy...I have many many reasons for using AAS in my situation. First off, and the most important reason in my mind is because I made the consciuos decision by weighing the pros and cons and came to the conclusion that this is what I want to do. I am a competitive athlete with aspirations and I'm going to push my skills as far as they will go and see where I end up. It's not like I'm the only guys using AAS either, I know of players from every level using including the NFL, to DI, IAA, II, III, and even high school and yes there is an air of "Why do this?" but my reasons are because the drive is within me to push myself to the edge, to develop myself as an athlete as far as I can. There is no diffference between me pushing myself and any other athlete such as one competing in the Olympics, hell the % of athletes using at that level are astounding, and the amazing thing is the use of many other substances, let alone common AAS in their pursuit of an Olympic medal, and they are all still amature athletes just like myself. Like I said before AAS is only a tool in my arsenal to develop my skills.

I have been planning this cycle for years now and in my original post I even mentioned that there are setbacks, that they are a part of life, and my situation specifically decides that I deal with them. Have you ever been up late watching the Discovery channel or read one of those books that are like "Hey, with our secret methods, we'll teach you how to actually win money when you go to Vegas and to the casinos." You know what the basis of all those things are, much like most things in everyday life? They are calculated risks which have been analyzed and processed to produce the greatest chance for success within any given risk. And keep in mind, that without taking risks, one is never really living. So, if you assess where I am at, I have only a very small period of time that I can use AAS safely without the chance of being tested by the NCAA and also can only use a small selection of AAS that suit both my goals and my time frame that I can allow the metabolites of these substances to be within my body in detectable ranges. Even though every NCAA athlete signs a contrat for 1 full year stating a drug clause, the athletes are not required to remain in the school system during the summer and due to many factors there is absolutely no chance that an athlete may be tested. i.e. Money allocated for Drug Testing, Amount of athletes to be tested, individual school drug testing policies, etc.

So Taking into fact that the NCAA always comes around at least once during the season, and possibly another time during the spring, it is best to wait until summer to use any AAS. My individual school drug testing policy (Which most schools adopt) states that only 1 male and 1 female athlete will be tested per month for drugs...give me a break. My school has the second most Varsity Sports of any college in the state, and I guarantee that those odds are with me to, so overall by using during the summer I have brought my calculated odds down to almost 0 of being tested and being positive. (And also taking into consideration the fact that I use quick acting drugs that clear my system relatively quickly before I even report to camp) so in other words, if I was in Vegas baby lets go gambling because I know I'm gonna get rich tonight!!

I'm sure you're familiar with the quote that "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it" and that definately holds true. I am almost two weeks into my cycle before I turned my ankle which is most likely just a severe sprain that will heal to better than 100% within a couple of weeks with the advantaced therapy that I am privelidged to have access to. Ice/Stim/heat, etc. therapy every day will definately help with my recovery and so will the fact that I was on AAS at the time of my injury. The whole reason I am using AAS is not to ONLY
quote:
to get cut, strong, or whatever you want.

but rather to help me develop as an athlete not only in the physical sense but also in the mental sense as well. I know I am going off on a tangent here but I am going to tell you something I learned this past year from a great friend of mine who is an astounding athlete. I have learned that alot of life is mental, and that the confident player in his abilities will outshine the other athlete with no confidence in himself everytime. When I go out on that field every day I have to take on the "Fuck You" mentality that I am the best and that I have the confidence to do anything and everything. Without confidence in myself, my body would follow that attitude and it's the same way in lifting. I have literally watched almost a dozen guys who are over 6'6", 300lbs be afraid to lift the big weights for one reason or another and you know what? They remain average athletes because of it. They don't aspire, they don't dream, they don't push themselves to the edge, and that is the difference between a champion (especially at heart) and just another athlete going through the motions. I know I have just been rambling on and have jumped from one topic to another but I hope this sheds some light BigBoy onto why I am doing what I am.

And in response to the 225 rep test...I've still got three years of eligibilty left (including this upcoming season) so you better damn well guarantee that it's gonna be going up way past thirty by the time I'm done. Peace brothers and take care. Until next time...

Hey LD, I had no idea that drug testing was so random. In 90-92 many people on the football team pissed in bottles in front of the NCAA both spring and summer. It happened all the time.

Also, you are right about the lessons you are learning. It is clear that you have weighed all the options and are in pursuit of a dream. Take your attitude to film study, playbooks, practice and you will succeed in Primetime. When I was a Frosh I came in thinking I was a badass. The first play from scrimmage against the 1st D I went 80 yards for the TD. There were several plays I made that year. However, over the next year I started to notice that many guys were stronger, faster, smarter, quicker etc and it hurt my play. I thought less of my ability because I saw their ability. I fizzled away and did a fraction of what was expected. I can look back on it and see how ridiculous the whole situation was. I guess my point is this. When I did not know, did not care and had the fuck you attitude I did well. When I lost that edge I lost everything. Keep the fuck you attitude. Seriously, never think "I can't do that".

Best of luck LD us old guys live again when we hear about the decision you young ones make.

BTW, I never benched 400 BUT I did bench 225 for 31 reps.

Lucky dog,

I think you have a good plan. I wish you the best of luck. Stay focused on your goals and never give up.

A 455 bench natural at 20 years old is very impressive.

What position do you play? I would guess (outside) linebacker or safety???

Drug Testing in the NCAA is definitely a joke. The bigger the school in Division I, the more non existant it is. Division III and NAIA, don't even test period. So basically that leaves the mid-major small D-I's and D-II's left and even that is sparingly. With the cost it takes to adminster tests, the NCAA will not up their budget to accomodate the proper numbers to be tested. This is my fouth year at an NCAA school, i have one more year of eligibilty left becasue i redshirted my sophomore year, and have not been tested once. I started out a Division I school and am now at a Division II school. It's defnitely a lot more random than people who are not involved really think it is. and luckydognic, phenominal posts bro, hope everything works out good for you. Keep me posted. Good numbers too, just work on that 40.

Hey, great journal. I'm new here but been around the other boards for a while. It's cool to see how a real athlete trains and thinks. Looking forward to your updates.

You all know how I feel about young guys and gear. I authored most of the text of the Veterans' Consensus Statement on Age of Initiation of Anabolic Use, which states that:

quote:
... the athlete considering the use of anabolics should be socially and physically mature, psychologically healthy, and should have completed 4 to 7 years of dedicated, mentored training in strength/endurance athletics and study in lifting technique, dietary practices, recuperation skills and supplementation. In most cases, the athlete will have reached the age of 21 before these prerequisites are in place, recognizing that many athletes will not have achieved the necessary experience, physical maturity, and psychic balance until their mid-20's or even later.

However, the Consensus Statement also provides for the use of anabolics by more youthful athletes, so long as they are "... prospective users of clear promise for national or international ranking in a sport, realistically hopeful for the kinds of benefits such ranking confers ..." It was our intention there to face the simple reality, as LuckyDog and others have expressed, here and elsewhere, that anabolics are essential "tools of the trade" for exceptionally talented, intelligent, and completely dedicated athletes. That's simply the way it is.

I have spoken to LuckyDog on numerous occasions, and have followed his thinking that resulted, ultimately, in this astonishing post. LuckyDog shows here, as he has to me in conversation, that he is exactly the kind of "talented, intelligent, and completely dedicated athlete" for whom exceptions are made.

Thanks for this wonderful post. Ulter doesn't give praise easily, and he wasn't kidding when he described this as "one of the best written and most comprehensive cycle posts ever posted anywhere."

So, good luck, young brother, on the field and off. Keep it clean and under the speed limit, and you'll set records. Be well, bro. Be happy, lift heavy, and journey safely.

Luckydog,

Congrats, those are some impressive numbers. As you are more than aware, the trick is to be able to "bring" those numbers to the field when you lay the leather. Since you indicate that you are aiming for speed and explosion first, not strength, it should not be a problem. It is so funny when a player thinks they are a badass because they are strong, then they proceed to put on the pads and get manhandled.
Take care of that ankle!

First off, before I write anything I would like to say a word of thanks to those who have posted to this thread and to those who have helped me out in any way at all as I will never be able to fully express the appreciation to all of those who have helped me progress to the point where I am now. I mean honestly, the praise I’ve received so far and the fact that this thread is put up as a sticky is quite an honor to say the least. To everyone out there…thanks; and I honestly mean that from the depths of my heart. To be honest, the real reason I did this was in hopes that it could help others who may have no idea on how to go about this type of thing and to try and “set an example” of how serious this “game” of ours really is. If this helps just one person or sheds some light into what my thought processes are and the training of a collegiate athlete are then I’ve done my job. And just so you guys know, I’m not even on any clomid. (Until this weekend for a short burst)

Okay, now to the updates. Numbers wise, things have been going pretty well. Today I weighed in at 226.5lbs but I have also noticed a decent amount of fat loss, being mostly told by the mirror, which we all know doesn’t lie. Abs which are one of my weakest points are starting to come in nice compared to what they once were (or rather weren’t). I don’t have a blood pressure report for you guys yet as I haven’t bought a decent blood pressure monitor with the “large/obese cuff” because I can’t find one. Heading to a medical store tomorrow but I have noticed no problems with high blood pressure or anything like that. Will let you know how that goes.

This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend so of course I ate plenty of good food, just made sure I got as many burgers, chicken, and one of my personal favorites, bratwurst down as possible before I moved on to other choices. But now I’m back on track once again and have been quite pleased with my progress and recovery. I’m just going to ramble on here for a while an
