Michelle Obama meant this is the first time in her adult life that she is proud of the "AMERICAN PEOPLE" doing something meaningful for change.

If you listen to the whole speech including the sentence following that one it is clear.
I would give much more credit to her rather than to all those conservatives who continuously shout how great America is but they are actually doing nothing to make this country better...

No offense, but I havent heard her come out and clarify what she meant, so I really see no way that you know what she meant. And your statement lumping all conservatives together as not doig anythng to make the country better is just as ignorant and "racist" as the remark you just ridiculed above. See the similarity?
