Competed in 2006 ( 1rst in southern AB and 2nd in the province lw.. yes I am a canuck)and 2007 ( 10th in the nationals in lw and 13th in masters)...
2007 was a trying year for me...
I gained unwanted weight the latter part of the year
OnJan 1 , I weighed in at 144.4 lbs.. ouch
This morning I came in at 134 lbs
My goal is to reach 122 lbs by June...
Eventhough I qualified for the Nationals I have decided I am not competing this year...
My goal is to feel good and be in shape...
I have been carb cycling.. 3 days low carbs.. one day carb spike with one day off per week which coincides with a high carb day....
My job has put a lot of stress on me as we are very short handed and my time is very limited....
Workouts.... I am attempting 4 sessions of 30 minutes of cardio per week and 4 sessions of 30-45 minutes of resistance training....
I will try and keep the log updated as best as I can
Todays food-
1 whole egg w/ 5 egg whites, spinach and low fat feta cheese omellete
1 yogurt
1 chicken breast with green beans
beef jerky
bb steak
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
work out-
30 minutes eliptocal
chest-
3 x 8 incline dumbell press ( 35 lbs x 2)
3 x 8 lying dumbell flies ( 20 lbs x 2)
superset pec dec- 3 x 8 reps right arm only , 3 x8 reps left arm only ( 75 lbs) , 3 x 8 reps both arms - 85 lbs ( pretty fatigued by this point)
with lying incline alternating machine at 30 lbs.. 3 x 8 sets.. each arm alternating with speed....
cable cross overs- 3 sets x 8 - 45 lbs
