Default The beautiful agony of deadlifting.

I just starting deadlifting heavy about 2 months ago and it has made an increadible difference in the thickness of my back. I don't know why I haven't deadlifted much in the past but I certainly was missing out.

Anyways, I was wondering if I am the only one that needs a wheelchair to get to my car after doing deads? When I am done it feels like I have torn every muscle in my lower back but the next day my back just feels sore. If I go really heavy I can barely drive my car home. Enough bitching. I set a new personal record on deads last night. I pulled 495 for 3 reps. I guess that would sound pretty good but I am weighing in at 240 so I won't be winning any powerlifting comps anytime soon. With the way this cycle is going, I should be able to get 495 for at least 6 reps in two weeks when I will deadlift again. I can't wait until I get that sixth plate on either side. I have about another month left on this cycle to try and make it.

Later,
