I agree w/ Retro...moderation is the key.Also,yes,the scheduled high carb day will serve to raise the metabolism which tends to get sluggish on a daily low carb intake.Anyway,every time your cravings get too bad just picture your competitors sticking to their diet and getting shredded...than you'll get sick to your stomach and WHAMMO,no more cravings!
