Most of this is relating to carb manipulation to minimize fat deposition.

I'd strongly encourage a pre-sleep protein drink to see you through the night. I used to drink milk and eggs before sleeping. I typically try to go at least three hours after my evening meal before taking my bedtime supps. Half an hour later I'll have my protein, maybe with a bowl of nuts or some cheese, and then sleep. You might want to skip the nuts.
