Riding has been set aside for a little while - my shoulder can't support the leaning over the handlebars part of riding a road bike right now. Basically anythign that is like a pushup or a plank I can't do for a while.
I was talking to a friend of mine who has been a competitive biker for years and she suggested getting that rear mount thing to make it a stationary bike and just ride upright for cardio & to work on endurance. This is actually something I'm going to look into. The first info meeting for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society that sponsors the 100 mile ride I was looking to do is this Sat. So I think I'll go & stay up w/ the meetings for the "how tos" & to meet people for while I can start riding - probably later this year - so I will be in a place that I can pick up quickly once the shoulder thing is stable.
