This is my thinking....

If you are doing this and it is working out great for you, then I wouldn't change it. If fat-loss is slowed down or stalled, then just take away a sandwich (preferably the chips first) at a time and replace it with something better.

You'll probably get tired of sammies after awhile though, then you'll have to decide wtf to do next

Are there other ways of eating better for fat loss? Well probably yes, but if this is working out fine, then just tailor it as you go, if it is even needed at all
