I can see the transfer to a powerlifting meet with box squat philosphy on a wide stance because of the practical use of the gear. I am having a very hard time understanding his reasoning on his athletic uses and even his put down of the olympic lifting philosophies. I'd like to hear from anyone who feels they have experience in any areas discussed. He just seems to contradict himself when he tells the audience, be good at one thing if you're a thrower be the best thrower, you're not a weightlifter, you're a thrower. Yet he trains them all with totals in mind. He wants to replace football practices with GPP work through sled dragging and various strength work. That's not being a good football player that's just being an in shape strong person. I respect Louie very much and his passion is undeniable. His experience is very thorough. I just feel he's back and forth on a lot of issues without being very clear. His atmosphere at WSB is a special place though with people who work their ass off and push each other.
