Were Obama white, we still wouldnt know he was. His record is pathetic. He has done nothing....nothing of note in the senate. His only record is one of opposition. Yet has introduced nothing of substance to counter those he opposes.
And the biggest problem, now that he is offering up some ideas, the country is so blindly following this man, they arent taking the time to see that his plans are going to hit us all with the biggest goddamn tax increase in history. That is fact and he doesnt even deny it. He is going to grow government by leaps and bounds, which though many are against, they still are jumping to vote for the man. I dont get it. Not to mention the fact he has reversed himself on several big issues, like campaign funding, and nobody seems to care.
If people would truly stop listening to the one liners, rhetoric and prepared speeches and actually READ this mans plans and look at his record, you might find that he isnt that different at all. He is exactly the same.

Unfortunately you aren't old enough to remember so you read opinionated revised history. Let me remind you...
Regan was elected because he was different and offered different ideas. I'm sure you don't remember that, you're not old enough. We elected a man who to that point could only boast the achievement of a failed movie career and being Gov of the leftest state in the country. Yet by the time he was done the Right hailed him as the greatest president of our time. And do you know how this man became president. Because people like me voted for him. People like me wrote congress and said, "hey, let's try something different" once he got into office. But not you. You aren't willing to try something different at all. You want more of the same as the country's economy and currency slides into the toilet. Regan's "Trickle Down" economics failed miserably. But we gave him a chance to try it.
Bush I, signed the biggest tax increase in history after PROMISING NO NEW TAXES.
Look for the Republicans to attack Obama for changing his mind. They are working overtime trying to pin "flip flopper" on him because it worked so well last time. Catch phrases and labels won't be enough this time though. They have started already with your talking points about campaign finance and now they are working on his Iraq position. It's somehow better to have a president who doesn't change his mind even as events change the landscape. Like Bush, never changing his mind even when it costs this country dearly. Thankfully Bush is better at it now than he was, but it's far too little to late.
McCain has changed his position on key issues as well. I don't see anyone on the left calling him names or coming up with labels for him doing that. It's actually refreshing to see a guy 70 years old change his mind.
