So I discussed this a little in my log, but Monday was the GF's Birthday. It was narrowed down to a Yorkie dog or a dishwasher for her. I felt weird with the dishwasher.....like I might as well hand her a mop and broom while I was at it, but it was her choice to decide

The dishwasher is still WAYYY cheaper than a Yorkie though, so that was a big plus on my side.

So a few days before her brithday she shot down my hints on the dog idea....although just 2 months prior she wanted one

So I was really feeling weird on the dishwasher thing. BUT, I was chillin at the parents house early that day and they mentioned my brother had just bought a 50" Plasma TV a few weeks prior.

It's like a light suddenly went off in my head

She had mentioned the TV in the past a few times as well

So in one of her cards, I told her that she had the option to choose anything she wanted, but mentioned the dog, dishwasher and TV as options/possibilities. I should have added a vacation trip somehwere too...oh well

Anyway, she picked the TV option

So yesterday we are driving down the freeway on our way to SEARS, and I told her..."Watch, i'm gonna go buy this TV and my car will probably breakdown tomorrow on my way to work." She started laughing. SEARS had the TV I wanted...ahem, she wanted, for 1799.00 and 18mo no interest. It's the Panasonic 50" PZ...80u that is mentioned in Consumer Reports and other sites as being the best buy. So they were sold out of them and I actually got it for the sale price, even though they were supposed to take the sale sign down, and forgot. So that was cool, we pick it up on Sunday. My brother has the same model and it rocks

I drive home, hit up Carl's Jr.....2 Western Bacon cheesebugers, Medium fry, Diet coke and a chili-cheese burger

I drive into the garage and park at the house and my fukken car breaks down with a loud cranking sound!!!!!!!
